Conference concerning art in public space

The subject of this year’s conference was shaping image and identity of the city through artistic activities in public space.

Issues of artistic intervention in the identity of the place, in the status of its attractiveness, the possibility of interference in a coherent and spatial whole, had been discussed. Can they enrich them by modern contents and new forms? To what extent the activities of modern art in changing the identity of the city, shape the identity of its inhabitants, recipients?
