KOT GroupKOT constitutes a music face of the so-called New Poznań Expression, represented wider by the members of the artistic group PENERSTWO. The group has been regularly performing since 2004, and its distinctive mark is using cassette players in the role of instruments. Simple, repetitive compositions of specific and synthetic sounds constitute the background for Bąkowski's melodeclamation. Musically, KOT refers to experimental hip hop and the Cold Wave of the eighties.
