Fresh Zone Contest: Pankiewicz Paulina Studied at the Department of Painting at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. She received her degree with honours in 2007 under the tutelage of professor Krzysztof Wachowiak, with a minor area of study in graphic arts under professor Rafał Strent and in drawing under professor Zofia Grazer. She completed her Master’s thesis work at the private studio 2PM in Warsaw in 2007. Her exhibition entitled Zestaw nr. 0,00 [Set No. 0.00] at the Miejsce studio in Warsaw in 2010. Presently she is under scholarship of the City Centre of the Capital City of Warsaw. She works in painting, drawing, printmaking, and photography. |
Godziny otwarcia [Opening hours]The anti-symbol of Krakow, the derelict frame of an unused skyscraper near the Mogilskie Roundabout, known as “Skeletor”, was “brought to life” for a few days during the festival. This initiative allowed Cracovians to see the building, which has been a subject of controversy for years, from a new perspective.
