Fresh Zone Contest: Lazar Magdalena Born in 1986 in Ruda Śląska. She graduated from the Arts Lyceum in Katowice with a specialisation in metal arts. Since 2006 she has studied graphic design in Krakow. She works in the broadly understood fields of digital imaging, animation, painting, drawing, and traditional printmaking techniques. She is fascinated by the opportunities and the pitfalls of new media. She belong to the artistic group Prassa. |
Oko [The Eye]The plan for this project was hatched after seeing a print by Odillion Redon depicting and eye-balloon. The installation was located near the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Krakow, and presented an unsettling and surreal scene.  |
