Siataniści
Twożywo is an art group engaging social issues. They do so also in the case of the project prepared for the ArtBoom Festival. Siataniści is another social-context-based play-on-words rendered by the artists.

The image of young, bag-laden people, after all known only so well from everyday existence, presented on the mural, is juxtaposed with the notion of Satanism – Satanism understood as temptations, turning to and becoming lost in the fulfilment of one’s own needs and whims. The artists are posing a question whether the need for new ideology, which can take the form of the cult of one’s own being, sought for by that trend nowadays does not manifest itself in multiple aspects of our life (acquisition of frequently unnecessary material goods can serve as an example here)?

Almost every one of us succumbs to this “sacral” consumerist rite, the ritual in praise of capitalism, satisfaction of needs stemming from our egoistic pursuit of pleasure. Therefore, we all are SIATANISTS! And Twożywo, on the bases of the idealised, synthetic stylistics reveals a peculiar monument of our times.
