Optical illusion

The project assumed the use of five 2.38 x 5.04 m billboards was a series of optical illusion patterns installed in the city space. Advertisements was replaced with prints of mobile optical illusions created by Akiyoshi Kitaoka, a professor of psychology at the Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto. They gave the impression of a hypnotic movement. Advertisi\ng nothing, they constitute a type of a trap of perception.

WarSZAWA

The WarSZAWA project was constituted by a red 14 x 82 cm neon-light located in the area of Krakow’s railway station. Two letters from the red neon-sign announcing WARSZAWA, fashioned after the authentic WARSZAWA GŁÓWNA [Warsaw Central] neon-sign from the Dworzec Główny [Warsaw Central] in Warsaw, have been switched of, thus creating a play on words - W...SZAWA.
