Łukasz Jastrubczak & Jakub Pišek
(Born 1984) – graduated with honours from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice in 2009. Together with Krzysztof Kaczmarek he co-created the Krzysztofjastrubczakłukaszkaczmarek art group. Jointly with Sebastian Cichocki, Jastrubczak authored the publication Miraż. Plays the synthesizer as a member of the band - Boring Drug. In 2013, the winner of the 6th Views Competition, was awarded the Deutsche Bank Prize. Collaborates with the David Radziszewski Gallery. Lives and works in Szczecin, where he lectures at the Academy of Fine Arts.
(Born 1985) – graduated from the New Media Department in Košice, under the German artist Anna Tretter. Participated in a student exchange with the École des Beaux Arts in Bordeaux and in a residency stay in Dortmund, Ruhr, under the European Capital of Culture 2011 programme. Practices performance, audio art and video art and real time graphic design. Lives and works in Košice.

The material recorded during Łukasz Jastrubczak’s performance Operating the Sun (24 shots taken in one minute at 24 locations around the central square which was treated like the clock dial) will be the starting point for a set to be created jointly by Łukasz Jastrubczak and Jakub Pišek. The latter wrote a special programme for sampling the sound and the visual material. The first artist will accompany the set playing the keyboards.
