The Fresh Zone Competition Jury will be deliberating the whole day today. The jury includes Małgorzata Gołębiewska (the ArtBoom Festival Artistic Director), Tomasz Warchał (project coordinator, the Krakow Festival Office), Agnieszka Obszańska (Polish Radio, Programme Three), Aleksandra Wasilkowska (architect, co-author of the Polish Pavilion exhibition at the Venice Biennale of Architecture in 2010), Michał Bieniek (curator, artist; the creator and general curator of the SURVIVAL Art Review, the originator and coordinator of the Wrocław modern art gallery, Mieszkanie Gepperta), Cecylia Malik (artist).
The Jury will select five final projects today and later Jenny Holzer, one of the most talented contemporary American artists, will choose her favourite from the group.
The names of the authors of the five winning projects – to be carried out during the ArtBoom Festival – will be announced at the beginning of May. And we will announce the name of the project selected by Jenny Holzer at the end of May.
