On Friday (18 June) at 5 p.m. we invite you to Gazeta Cafe (Krakow, 14 Bracka Street) for the one and only meeting during the whole ArtBoom Tauron Festival with Mirosław Bałka – one of the most important artists of his generation.
Mirosław Bałka’s works have received the acclaim of critics, curators and collectors in the country and in the world. As a confirmation of this, the London Tate Modern – the biggest and most prestigious public gallery in the world – put forward a proposal to realise a piece in the Turbine Hall as part of one of the most spectacular projects dedicated to contemporary art: The Unilever Series.
Let us also remind you that during last year’s 1st edition of the ArtBoom Tauron Festival, Mirosław Bałka prepared a sculpture entitled AUSCHWITZWIELICZKA, which is being temporarily displayed on Niepodległości Square in Podgórze, and it will soon be moved to Lipowa Street.

The meeting will be hosted by a journalist from Gazeta Wyborcza, Dorota Jarecka.
Come and see!
